The First Time
First days anywhere can be exciting, nerve-wracking, confusing, a breeze! We hope your visit to St Leonard's will be a good one. St Leonard's is an inclusive church; all are welcome. We are close to Lawrence subway and the church is all on one level, providing easy access.
You will usually be greeted at the door, and once inside, one of our ever-helpful sidespeople (ushers) will hand you a hymn book and large-print service program, and help you find a seat. All of the service outline is in the program, making the service easy to follow, but if you lose track, any of the people around you will help out. Hearing assistive devices are also available.
After the service, enjoy tea, coffee and light refreshments, and chat with some of St Leonard's folks.
From September to June, there is church school for kids. If you come to St Leonard's with children, encourage them to join in, and, of course, you are welcome to keep your child company until they feel comfortable.
